Conversion Map​

As part of the Commemo Ad Team, I had the opportunity to create a conversion map for acquiring customers. This includes researching the ideal process for customers to make their way through the marketing funnel, from acquisition to purchase. This helped me understand the marketing funnel and how it is used. I gained skills to learn how to create a conversion map and an ad strategy which I would be able to do for any future campaign.

FERPA | Eye Tracking Comprehension Research

I was part of a group that performed research for the FERPA Compliance Committee. We evaluated the posters that they had hung on BYU campus and their effectiveness. We used an eye-tracking lab to track where students eyes went when they viewed the posters and for how long they viewed each object. After we tracked their eyes, we performed a comprehension survey to see the messaging effectiveness and clarity. This helped me learn how to conduct research (including focus groups and interviews), analyze data and easy to-comprehend-results compile results. I am now able to organize, conduct and analyze research from eye-tracking, focus groups and survey results.

Acorns.com | Keyword Research, Site Audit and Content Outline

As an assignment for an SEO class, I did keyword research for the site acorns.com/invest. Since then I have done keyword research for a variety of sites, some for my work and some for school. For future employers, I can conduct site audits, keyword and competitor research, and create content outlines for any businesses website.

Acorns.com | Site Audit

In this site audit for acorns.com/invest, I learned how to ensure that all H1, H2, Title Tags and other website components are accurate and functioning. It also ensures that links are not broken. This is additionally critical for all businesses, but especially for small start-ups who don't have website developers on-hand at all times. For future positions, I can now identify any aspects of the site that are broken or need changes.

Content Outline

This is a content outline for a potential blog post (or posts) for the acorns.com blog. This helped me learn how to combine the most important keywords from TF*IDF and keywords research into one collaborate document that will increase a businesses SEO, without keywords stuffing into one blog post. If hired as a copywriter, I would be able to combine critical keywords into an engaging blog post that draws increases SEO without keyword stuffing. 

Utah Jazz | Social Listening Report

One project I participated in whilst in Y Digital Agency was commissioned by the Utah Jazz. They sponsored the #LeadTogether campaign that encouraged fans to abstain from racist remarks, bigotry and inappropriate behavior at sporting events. We used social listening softwares like Crimson Hexagon and Buzz Sumo to evaluate impact and reach of the campaign. We provided the Jazz with a 24 hour report, a 7 day report and a 14 day report. This featured report is the 7 day report.
