Commemo | Facebook Video Ad
Commemo is a collaborative memory book company. They launched in February 2019 and I had the opportunity to run their first Facebook ad campaign. This included writing ad copy, testing audiences, allocating budget and review ad performance. I am able to monitor Facebook and Instagram campaigns, create ads and test audiences and content, while making changes to generate more successful results as it goes.

I had the opportunity to manage Tara Teaspoon's (a food blogger) social media accounts. While managing her social media accounts, I increased her engagement rates and her website traffic. I learned how to captivate users using Instagram stories and by presenting a genuine persona to the audience.

I was the Product Marketing Intern at Deseret Book and had the opportunity to get to know their audience as their social media manager. I learned that their audience responded well to quotes and deep thoughts, so I used quotes from books that we were trying to market to create different graphics and content for social media. To the left is an example of one of these posts that performed extremely well.

For over a year I was the Social Media Manager for Fiiz Drinks. This role included managing Fiiz's Facebook, Twitter and Instagram accounts, producing new content on each channel everyday. I had the opportunity to perfect my Photoshop skills and edit pictures.

I had the opportunity to be a part of producing a professional commercial for Commemo (explained above). I was the locations manager for the shoot, which included scouting and booking 8 different locations for our shoot. The shoot lasted 5 days. When looking for locations, I had to draw on my social media knowledge and envision what people would want to see and what would emotionally appeal to them.
